Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-08-30
These Terms govern your use of MoodleBuilder ("the Service"), an online service run by a specialized team in distance education, instructional design, and professional course production, that produces Moodle-ready SCORM course packages from materials you provide, with support available 24 hours a day for any inquiry. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. What the Service Does
You upload course materials (a syllabus/canvas file, instructor information, and content sources such as PDFs or documents). Our team and production systems, specialized in distance-education instructional design, analyze that structure and, once payment is confirmed, produce a course package — SCORM 1.2 packages, quizzes, banners, and supporting documents — built to reflect your uploaded materials.
Every order goes through a human review step before it is released to you. No course package is delivered automatically without that review.
Your package also includes a Moodle backup (.mbz) file you can restore directly into Moodle. Any PowerPoint deck included in your package is for instructor use only and is not uploaded to Moodle by us.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your password secure and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Your Materials
You confirm that you own or otherwise have the right to upload and use the course materials, instructor information, and any other content you submit, and that doing so does not infringe a third party's rights.
We use your uploaded materials only to produce your order and, where you've consented to being contacted for support, to resolve issues with that order.
4. Ownership of Generated Output
Once your order is paid for and delivered, you own the generated course package for your own use (deploying it in your Moodle instance, teaching with it, and similar academic/institutional use). We retain no exclusive rights over your finished package beyond what's needed to operate and support the Service.
5. Payment
Prices are shown at checkout in your selected currency before you pay. Production begins only after payment is confirmed by our team (for manual payment methods) or captured automatically (for automated methods like PayPal).
See our Refund Policy for what happens if you want to cancel or aren't satisfied with your order.
6. Acceptable Use
Don't use the Service to upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or resell access to the Service itself without our written permission.
7. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is." While we review every package before delivery, we don't guarantee that generated content is free of every error, or that it will meet a specific accreditation or institutional requirement beyond the SCORM 1.2 technical standard. You're responsible for reviewing your delivered package before deploying it in a live course.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
