Account information: your name, email address, university/institution, and password (stored securely, never in plain text).

Order materials: the syllabus, instructor information, and content files you upload for course production.

Payment information: for manual payment methods, a proof-of-payment file and the reference you provide — we never see or store your card/bank credentials directly, since automated payments are processed by the payment provider (e.g. PayPal), not by us.

Usage data: pages visited and general traffic-source information (e.g. which site referred you), used only in aggregate for site analytics.

Support communications: messages you send through the in-app assistant, live chat, or support tickets.

To create your account, process your order, generate your course package, and deliver it to you.

To send transactional emails (payment confirmation, invoices, course-ready notifications) and respond to support requests.

To detect and prevent abuse of the Service, and to improve it based on aggregate usage patterns.

We use a small number of trusted providers to operate the Service: our hosting and database provider (which stores your account and order data), our internal content-production systems (which generate your course content from your uploaded materials), Brevo (which sends transactional email and powers live chat support), and payment providers relevant to the method you choose (such as PayPal). Each processes only the data needed to perform its function for your order.

We keep your account and order data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, accounting, and support obligations. You can request deletion of your account as described below.

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or request deletion of your account and associated data, by contacting support@moodlebuilder.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time, subject to any records we're legally required to keep.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. We also collect basic, privacy-respecting visit analytics (page views and traffic source) to understand how the site is used — this doesn't involve third-party advertising trackers.

We use industry-standard practices (encrypted storage, access controls, and row-level security on our database) to protect your data. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

We may update this Policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
